Nov 2009 Perodua Alza Cross Wagon Concept

As Perodua introduce its new model line up tomorrow, 23rd Nov 2009, I bring you this concept just to share what’s going on in my mind. Just an idea to put variable functionality on this model. With a minimal touch and color scheme adjustment, nah, this is the 3D model which has been develop for just only 4days..

Yes, the actual car is Toyota Passo Sette and Perodua bring it as Alza. A car which can react as an MPV. But this is none of automotive blog. I will not discuss about that.

For this model. i try to create a minimal adjustment such as redesign belt line and redesign the front end of the model. Adding roof bar and play with the body color.

As a result, it looks european..haha.

Salam..I just get some knowledge from reader Animous to set daylight system in my 3d model. As for the result, I managed to get play with it. And for this column, Lets take a look on 3 of my models combined in one frame and rendered with Daylight System.

Thanks Animous..

From left; Proton Savvy IRC Concept, Mazda 2 and Aygo-Based model…

The Aygo model seems like too big refer to Savvy and Mazda size. Very sorry about that.

Nov 2009 Impression.

Salam..This is my latest 3d model using 3ds Max 2009 which is 50% of the design was developed by myself. I was benchmarking the Peugeot 308gt during the 3d development. Blend Mazda 3’s and Renault Clio’s design cue and added with Japanese Hybrid spirit. A lot of copy-paste ideas. Hehe

Meanwhile, as the model is about to finish, I am wondering what segment is suitable to match this model. Hahahaha. I patch the Proton’s tiger emblem as my own identity..

The 3d model is made up from editable poly, extrude and turbosmooth with 3 iteration. Rendered with simple Mental-ray with basic skylight setup.

I will update the complete rendered artwork after this. Just take a look on the thumbnail below; the 3d development (Using 3ds Max). Thanks

You could see the Peugeot 308gt blueprints setting in the layout. That was a benchmarking process before the model was derived to a different cue and line setup.

Raytraced material is applied to the model. With some reflection added and skylight lighting setting..Somebody teach me how to render better.pls.
